Register now for summer baseball, softball
City of Holyoke Recreation Department’s summer registration forms are now available and are due Saturday, May 15. Teams include T-ball for boys and girls age 5-6, machine pitch for boys and girls age 7-8, softball for girls age 9-12 and 13-17, peewee for boys age 9-10, Little League for boys age 11-12 and Babe Ruth for boys age 13-16. Practice schedules are available at the Holyoke city office. Participants should register through the link on the rec department’s Facebook page. Fire department fundraiser is Saturday
The Wauneta Fire Department is hosting a fundraiser Saturday, May 8, at 6 p.m. with Rocky Mountain oysters, hamburgers and hot dogs. The fire hall is located approximately 21 miles south of Holyoke on Highway 385.
