Look inside for Salute to Beef
Inserted in this week’s Enterprise is Johnson Publications’ annual Salute to Beef. It’s got everything from important legislation updates to livestock judging to the difference between real and fake beef to messages from local advertisers.
Spaghetti supper is drive-thru style
Dragon’s Wagon Preschool’s annual spaghetti supper and program is this Thursday, May 13. The dinner will be available to pick up in a drive-thru at Phillips County Event Center from 5-6:30 p.m. Meal tickets are available from preschool parents or can be purchased at the event center Thursday evening.
The “Blast from the Past” program will be streamed on YouTube under the “Holyoke TV Production” page. The first group will start at 6 p.m., with the second group performing around 7 p.m.
An online auction will be held from Thursday, May 13, at 8 a.m. to Thursday, May 20, at 8 p.m. On Facebook, look for the “2021 Preschool Auction” album on the “Dragon’s Wagon Spring 2021 Auction” page. Each auction item will have a picture in the album, and bids can be made in the comments section under each picture. Bids can also be emailed to dwps@pctelcom.coop by 10 a.m. May 20.
Teacher retirement reception is May 21
Holyoke School District is hosting a retirement reception for music teacher Marcia Dalton and fourth grade teacher Kimberlee Bennett on Friday, May 21, from 3:30-5:30 p.m. at the elementary school cafeteria.
No school Friday
Students in Holyoke School District will get the day off Friday, May 14.
