Get animal licenses, vaccinations at clinic Saturday morning

As a joint project between the City of Holyoke and Phillips County, an animal clinic is set for Saturday, June 12, from 9-11 a.m. at Holyoke Vet Service, located 1.5 miles east of the stoplight on Highway 6.

City ordinance requires all dogs harbored within the city be licensed. Dogs need to be vaccinated every other year with antirabies vaccine, and proof from a licensed veterinarian is necessary before the city dog license is issued. The owner of any dog found without a license tag after the clinic will be cited.

It’s also strongly encouraged that all dogs and cats within Phillips County be vaccinated.

For more info or for pet records, contact 970-854-3800 prior to Saturday.
