Play auditions are Friday

Phillips County Players are having auditions Friday, June 25, at 7 p.m. at SunSet View in the small east meeting room for their next production. The play, “Let Him Sleep ’Til It’s Time for His Funeral,” is scheduled to be staged Friday-Saturday, Sept. 17-19. For more information, contact Penny Dockins at 970-520-2692.

Cemetery tours are Saturday

Phillips County Historical Society is hosting a cemetery tour event in the east half of the county Saturday, June 26. Attendees should meet at Phillips County Museum in Holyoke at 8 a.m. to carpool/caravan to Pleasant Valley, Dunkard, Amherst and Holyoke cemeteries. Tennis shoes or boots and jeans are recommended.

Fair booklets available

Booklets containing schedules, contest entry details and parade information for the July 20-25 Phillips County Fair are now available at businesses around the county and at the Phillips County Extension office at the fairgrounds. Call 970-854-3616 for more info.
