Street maintenance set for July 20-22

City crews will be doing their annual seal coat project next week. Residents should not park vehicles or allow sprinklers to run water on the following streets between 4 a.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday-Thursday, July 20-22 — 100-800 blocks of East Hale Street, 100-400 blocks of West Hale Street, 500-700 blocks of South Heginbotham Avenue, 100-800 blocks of East Kellogg Street, 100-600 blocks of West Kellogg Street, 100-1400 blocks of East Johnson Street, 500-700 blocks of West Johnson Street, 400 block of West Kunkel Street, 100-400 blocks of West Melissa Lane and 1200 block of South Sherman Avenue.

After not being able to do its largest fundraiser of the year in 2020 due to COVID-19 restrictions, Dragon Booster Club is excited to be back with the Mouse Races this year to support Holyoke junior high and high school athletics.

The event is set for Friday, July 30, at the Phillips County Event Center. Social hour begins at 5 p.m., a pork and brisket taco dinner will be served at 6 p.m., and the mouse races are at 7 p.m. Attendees must be 21 years or older. City rec to host youth art camp July 19-20

A youth summer art camp is set for Monday-Tuesday, July 19-20, at Homesteaders Park. Kids in kindergarten through second grade will meet from 8:30-9:45 a.m. and third through sixth grade from 10-11:15 a.m. There is a small fee, and all supplies will be provided.
