Flu shot clinics offered
A drive-by flu shot clinic is scheduled for Thursday, Oct. 28, from 4-7 p.m. at Family Practice of Holyoke. To schedule, go to mmh.ourscheduling.com.
Those age 65 and up can also utilize flu shot clinics Thursday, Nov. 4, and Tuesday, Nov. 9, from 4-7 p.m. at SunSet View. There is no charge to Medicare patients with cards.
Local veterans’ names needed by Nov. 4
In honor of Veterans Day, a list of veterans who live in Phillips County will be published in the Enterprise. The deadline is Thursday, Nov. 4.
Submit your creative writings
The Holyoke Enterprise staff members are already hard at work on the annual Christmas edition, which will be published Dec. 22. All ages are invited to submit original creative writings and poetry to be included in the special section. Deadline is Friday, Nov. 12. Tuesday is Election Day
Voters are reminded that ballots are due to the Phillips County clerk by 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 2. Postmarks do not count. The office is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-4 p.m.; Saturday, Oct. 30, 8 a.m.-noon; and Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 7 a.m.-7 p.m. A 24-hour drop box is also located to the east of the courthouse parking lot.
