Donate food, clothing by Dec. 15
The high school business leadership class is doing a food and clothing drive through Wednesday, Dec. 15. Food donations will support the local community, and the clothing will be given to the Orphan Grain Train in Julesburg. The goal is to collect at least 700 pieces of quality clothing and 200 nonperishable food items. Items can be dropped off at Holyoke JR/SR High, First United Methodist Church, Zion Lutheran Church, First Christian Church, First Baptist Church, Church of Christ, Brewed Awakening, Jake’s Feed, Holyoke Marketplace or Holyoke Fitness Club.
Ornaments sought for new community tree
A new community Christmas tree will be lit downtown during Country Christmas on Monday, Dec. 6. Local businesses are encouraged to create a special ornament for the tree, which will represent hope, determination and togetherness. Drop them off at the chamber office, 118 N. Interocean, by Friday, Dec. 3.

Sign up for window decorating contest

Blood drive is next Thursday
