Ice cream social is Sunday

Phillips County Historical Society is hosting an ice cream social Sunday, July 17, from 1:30-4 p.m. at the Phillips County Museum, 109 S. Campbell Ave. in Holyoke. Freewill donations will be accepted.

Cornhole tourney is Saturday

Holyoke Chamber of Commerce’s second cornhole tournament of the summer series is Saturday, July 16, at Bank of Colorado Pavilion at the Phillips County Fairgrounds. Pre-registration starts at 4 p.m., and bags will fly at 6 p.m. All ages are welcome to attend the family-friendly event as spectators or as competitors. Cheering sections are encouraged. Register for summer art camp

Registration is now available for the city of Holyoke recreation department’s summer art camp. It will be held Monday-Tuesday, July 25-26, at Homesteaders Park. Kindergarten to second graders will meet from 8:30-9:45 a.m., and third through sixth graders will have camp from 10-11:15 a.m. To sign up, email recdirector@cityofholyoke-co.gov, call 970-580-3659 or look for the form on the City of Holyoke Recreation Facebook page.

All ages invited to family camp

A camp organized by Vida Abundante and First Baptist Church at Camp Machasay near Amherst is set for Friday-Sunday, July 22-24. There will be vacation Bible school classes, fun activities including a climbing wall and worship services.
