Cornhole tourney is Saturday at Bank of Colorado Pavilion

Holyoke Chamber of Commerce’s third cornhole tournament of the summer series is Saturday, Aug. 20, at Bank of Colorado Pavilion at the Phillips County Fairgrounds.

Pre-registration starts at 4 p.m., and bags will fly at 6 p.m. All ages are welcome to attend the family-friendly event as spectators or as competitors. Cheering sections are encouraged. There will be music, concessions and a beer garden.

Colorado Alliance Tour championship is Sunday

On Sunday, Aug. 21, Phillips County Raceway in Holyoke is hosting a full night of racing, beginning at 5 p.m. The evening will include modifieds, stock cars, sport mods, hobby stocks, sport compacts and outlaw classics. For more info, visit bstracing.com.

 

Sign up for family education classes Monday

Phillips County Family Education Services registration will be held Monday, Aug. 22,  from 6-7:30 p.m. in the Biesemeier Room at the Phillips County Event Center. Ken Buck staff to be in town next week

U.S. Rep. Ken Buck’s (CO-04) district staff will hold a series of regional office hours for constituents to connect directly with caseworkers and receive assistance with federal agencies, such as social security and veterans’ benefits, steps for obtaining a passport and more. Area representative Darlene Carpio will be in Holyoke on Wednesday, Aug. 24, from 12:30-2:30 p.m. at the Phillips County Event Center.
