Community invited to Dragon’s Night Out

Dragon Booster Club is kicking off the school year with Dragon’s Night Out next Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 6-7 p.m. at the practice football field. There will be a free hot dog meal, and school clubs, sports and organizations will have tables set up for people to visit.

 

Fellowship of Christian Athletes kicks off

All junior high and high school students are invited to the Fellowship of Christian Athletes kickoff Wednesday, Aug. 31, from 6:30-9 p.m. at Holyoke City Park. The night will include free supper, games/activities and a lesson. FCA is a nondenominational youth group for all junior high and high school students, both athletes and nonathletes. Health needs assessment follow-up is Aug. 31

Community members are invited to a Facebook Live follow-up discussion hosted by Melissa Memorial Hospital for its Community Health Needs Assessment. The online event is set for Wednesday, Aug. 31, at 6 p.m. at www.facebook.com/MelissaMemorialHospital.

 

Quilt show set for Sept. 24 in Haxtun

High Plains Heritage Quilters are getting ready for the 2022 Haxtun Corn Festival Quilt Show on Saturday, Sept. 24, from 1-4 p.m. at the Haxtun Community Center.
