Friends of the Library to host book sale

Friends of the Library’s annual Book Bonanza book sale is set for Saturday, Sept. 10, from 8 a.m.-noon and Friday, Sept. 16, from noon-5 p.m. at the Heginbotham Library carriage house.

Free English classes start Thursday

Free English classes are being offered every Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 240 S. High School Ave., Holyoke. Registration and the start of the class is Thursday, Sept. 8. The classes will include grammar, vocabulary and conversation. For more info, contact 970-466-2548.

Sign up for women’s volleyball league

City of Holyoke Recreation Department is organizing a women’s volleyball league on Wednesday nights for five weeks starting Sept. 14. The deadline to sign up a team is Saturday, Sept. 10. The form is available at https://forms.gle/oLhxC21zyoG12SCP9.

Interocean Ave. — parents’ full names and city of residence, baby’s full name, baby’s gender, birth date and location, baby’s weight and length at birth, siblings’ names and ages, and grandparents’ and great-grandparents’ names and cities of residence.
