Homecoming activities scheduled

On Thursday, Oct, 6, floats will line up on Bignel Street at 2:15 p.m., and the homecoming parade will cruise south on Interocean Avenue beginning at 3 p.m. 

Immediately after Thursday’s parade, a pep rally will take place at the football field. 

A community barbecue and bonfire is set for Thursday at 6 p.m. at the school parking lot with a meal provided by Seaboard Foods. 

Friday, Oct. 7, athletic events include volleyball at 4 p.m. and football at 7 p.m., both against Wiggins. 

 

Enterprise organizing Hall of Fame

Silents Night is Oct. 9 at Museum

Phillips County Historical Society will be hosting Silents Night on Sunday, Oct. 9, at the museum at 109 S. Campbell Ave. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the movies begin at 7 p.m. Concessions will be available, and admission is free. The first feature will be “Bang!,” a slapstick western from 1921, followed by the feature presentation, “Phantom of the Opera” from 1925, starring Lon Chaney.

 

MMH offering shot clinics

Melissa Memorial Hospital is offering a flu shot clinic Tuesday, Oct. 11, 3-5 p.m. at Sunset View Community Center. They’re also hosting a walk-in flu and COVID shot clinic Thursday, Oct. 13, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. at Family Practice of Holyoke.
