Annual FFA/FCCLA service sale is Monday

Holyoke FFA and FCCLA are holding their annual service sale Monday, March 6, in the HHS old gym. The meal will be held from 5-6 p.m., and bidding begins at 7 p.m. Contact FCCLA adviser Karen Ortner at ortnerka@hcosd.org or FFA adviser Shauna Strecker at streckersh@hcosd.org, or either at 970-854-2284, to place absentee bids by Friday, March 3. 

Youth wrestling tourney is this weekend

The Holyoke youth wrestling tournament is this Saturday, March 4, at Holyoke High School. Wrestling begins at 10 a.m. Preregistration is due by 2 p.m. on Friday, March 3. Register online at www.TrackWrestling.com. General questions can be sent to Holyoke YouthWrestling@gmail.com.

4-H 101: New Family Orientation is March 13

Phillips County CSU Extension is hosting 4-H 101: New Family Orientation on Monday, March 13, 4-6 p.m. The goal of this new program is to welcome and teach new families about 4-H. It is highly recommended that first-year families attend, but it can be a great refresher for anyone.

Smorgasbord and concert is next Tuesday

The annual smorgasbord fundraiser for the Music Parents Association will be held Tuesday, March 7. A dinner will be served from 5-6:30 p.m. in the elementary school cafeteria. Meal tickets are available at the door or from music students. A free concert featuring Holyoke school bands and choirs will begin at 7 p.m. in the JR/SR high school auditorium.
