Credit Union annual meeting is next week

Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union, along with Imperial Credit Union, is hosting its 85th annual meeting Monday, March 20, at the Phillips County Event Center in Holyoke. Registration and supper begin at 5:30 p.m., and the meeting will start at 6:45 p.m. 

The evening will include reports from the board of directors, president and supervisory committee, in addition to an election. Some lucky attendees will get to enter the money machine or spin the wheel of fortune during the meeting. There will also be a young members’ meeting for ages 3-9.

Graduation tab to be published in May

The Holyoke Enterprise’s annual graduation tab will be published at the beginning of May. Parents, family and friends can congratulate graduates with a special sticky note message that will be printed in the keepsake edition.

Weather spotter class offered March 29

Anyone interested in joining the Phillips County weather spotter team is encouraged to attend a training session on Wednesday, March 29, at 6:30 p.m. in the Biesemeier Room at Phillips County Event Center. The two-and-a-half-hour class provided by the National Weather Service is free and open to the public.

It is recommended to renew weather spotter certifications at least every two years.
