Enterprise to publish Discover magazine in May

The Holyoke Enterprise is putting together a fully glossy resource guide of the High Plains called Discover. The Enterprise will be joined by its sister papers in Grant and Imperial in Nebraska, as well as six other Mullen Newspapers publications in Kansas.

Youth Challenge to hold Underground Church event for local youth this weekend

Youth Challenge is hosting an Underground Church event for junior high and high school students this Saturday, April 1, from 5-8 p.m. at Camp Machasay, 61360 County Road 40 in Amherst. Dinner is included in this free event.

Students are invited to learn what it would be like if Christianity were illegal where they lived as they role-play in a fictional country to get a better understanding of life in the current-day underground church.

Holyoke Elementary School spring 

program is next Tuesday

The annual spring program for Holyoke Elementary School’s first and third graders will be held next Tuesday, April 3, at 7 p.m. at Heginbotham Auditorium in Holyoke JR/SR High School. 

The community is invited to watch the program, where the local students will be singing and telling jokes.
