Trunk sale is this weekend

Summer reading program starts Tuesday

Heginbotham Library’s summer reading program kicks off next week, with registration for kids age 3-10 at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 13, and teens age 11-17 at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 15. 

The “Animal Olympics” summer reading program will run through July 14 and includes programs, prizes, a foam party, movie night and more. Call the library at 970-854-2597 for more information, or stop by 539 S. Baxter Ave.

Enterprise deadline to remain the same

The Holyoke Enterprise will be moving from a Wednesday publication to a Thursday publication starting with next week’s edition on Thursday, June 15. Deadlines for news and ads will remain Tuesday at 10 a.m. 

Phillips County 4-H’s Bark in the Park event is next Wednesday

Phillips County 4-H is sponsoring a Bark in the Park event on Wednesday, June 14, at 4 p.m. at Homesteaders Park at Phillips County Fairgrounds. The event will include dog enrichment toy building and dog treat making, with a presentation by Bex Bites. 

RSVP by Tuesday, June 13, by calling the Phillips County Extension office at 970-854-3616. The event is free to attend and is open to both 4-H members and nonmembers.
