Special section celebrates Christmas
Look inside this week’s Enterprise for a 24-page special section packed with holiday cheer! It includes creative writings from Holyoke Elementary School students in grades K-6 and Dragon’s Wagon Preschool as well as writings from community members. Dozens of local businesses also contributed with special holiday greetings for their customers, patrons and friends.

Enterprise to be closed on Christmas
In observance of the Christmas holiday, The Holyoke Enterprise will be closed Monday, Dec. 25. While the deadline remains Tuesday, Dec. 26, at 10 a.m., staff members encourage readers to submit news and ads by Friday, Dec. 22. Merry Christmas!
Camp Machasay to host archery events
Families are invited to head out to Camp Machasay for five archery events hosted by Youth Challenge. Open and competitive shooting will be held indoors from 3-6 p.m. Sundays, Jan. 7 and 21, Feb. 4 and 18, and March 4. Attendees can bring their own bow or use one provided, and a fee will cover participation at all five events. Camp Machasay is located 2 miles east of Highway 23 at 61360 County Road 40, Amherst. Stamp prices to increase
The U.S. Postal Service has announced price changes that will take affect Sunday, Jan. 21. A 1-cent increase will raise the price of a first-class mail Forever stamp from 49 cents to 50 cents, and postcards stamps will jump from 34 cents to 35 cents.
