Weather spotter classes free, open to public
    Weather spotter classes with training by the National Weather Service are set for Monday, March 26, at 6:30 p.m. at Haxtun Fire Hall; and Tuesday, March 27, at both 1 p.m. and 6 p.m. at Phillips County Event Center. To RSVP, contact 970-854-3778 or bob.heldenbrand@phillipscounty.co.  
    
P Pod closing Saturday
    Anita Lengfelder has announced that she will be closing the P Pod, located at 115 S. Interocean Ave. in Holyoke, at the close of business Saturday, March 17. The P Pod and Creative Traditions, located on the south side of the same building, opened in November of 2014. Creative Traditions owner Julie Haake said no decisions have been made for the future of the north part of the building which now houses the P Pod.
    
Flapjack Feed is Sunday
    Holyoke Pack and Troop 32 and the Holyoke Lions Club are hosting their inaugural Flapjack Feed Sunday, March 18, from 5-7 p.m. at Holyoke Lions Den. Freewill donations will benefit character and leadership youth programs.
    Museum to host toy and collectible show
    Plan to attend the toy and collectible show Sunday, March 18, from 1-4:30 p.m. at Phillips County Museum. To display items — comic books, action figures, dolls, dishes, music boxes, coins, etc. — call Charley Triplette at 970-854-3256.
    
Farm and Home Show to set up Saturday
    A variety of vendors will set up at the KSTH Farm and Home Show, sponsored by Star 92.3, Saturday, March 17, from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Phillips County Event Center.
