Truck, tractor pull rescheduled for Saturday
    Due to rainy weather during the Phillips County Fair, the Heartland Pulling Series truck and tractor pull was rescheduled for Saturday, Aug. 18, at 6 p.m. at the Phillips County Fairgrounds. The all-events wristbands from the fair will be honored.
    
Pick up a copy of community calendars
    The school and community calendars coordinated by Holyoke Chamber of Commerce will be distributed at back-to-school night Wednesday, Aug. 15. After that, extra calendars will be available at local businesses.
    
Volleyball, football to host Gatorade Games
    The donation of a Gatorade is all it takes for spectators to be admitted to the Gatorade Games Friday, Aug. 17, at Holyoke High School. Intersquad scrimmages will start at 4 p.m. for volleyball and at 4:30 p.m. for football.
    
FCA youth group kicks off next Wednesday
    All junior high and high school students are invited to the kickoff of Fellowship of Christian Athletes next Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 6:30 p.m. at Holyoke City Park. The night will include a free supper, games and more. FCA is a nondenominational youth group that meets on Wednesdays throughout the school year.
