Enterprise looking for creative writings and poetry; deadline is this Friday
    The Holyoke Enterprise is accepting original creative writings and poetry to be published in a special holiday issue Thursday, Dec. 20. Deadline is Friday, Nov. 16. Mail submissions to P.O. Box 297, Holyoke, CO 80734, email to editor@jpipapers.com or drop off at 130 N. Interocean Ave.
    
‘Smart Money’ to be broadcast Thursday
    Dave Ramsey and Chris Hogan will be featured in a free one-night livestream event called “Ramsey Smart Money” Thursday, Nov. 15, at 5:30 p.m. at Holyoke First Baptist Church, 1000 E. Food drive to go door to door Sunday
    Challengers 4-H Club will be conducting a canned food drive Sunday afternoon, Nov. 18. Members will be going door to door in Holyoke to collect nonperishable food items. Community members wishing to participate can also leave food in a bag on their front porch for members to collect. The food will be distributed within the community.
    
Students get Thanksgiving break
    Holyoke schools will not have class Wednesday-Friday, Nov. 21-23, due to the Thanksgiving holiday.
    
Newspaper sets early deadline
    Next week’s Enterprise deadline has been bumped up to Monday, Nov. 19, at 10 a.m. due to Thanksgiving. Any news and ads received by Friday, Nov. 16, will be appreciated.
