Art in the Park is Saturday

On Saturday, June 19, the Heginbotham Library will host its first annual Art in the Park from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.

The event will be hosted outside to the north of the library. Anybody from in town to outside of the city limits can come to the event and showcase their art, sell their art or both. Pre-register by calling 970-854-2597 or sign up during the event.

According to librarian Kathy Bornhoft, this event will be in partnership with the summer reading program which has been focusing on the arts. The children who have been a part of the program can showcase their own art and sell it if they wish to.

At the event there will be arts and crafts, painted furniture, baked goods and more. Friends of the Library will be at the event as well selling books, DVDs and old vinyl records.

The Heginbotham Library is considering continuing this event in the fall of 2021.
