ASIST training to be held at Morgan Community College
Centennial Mental Health Center will be hosting an Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training on Monday and Tuesday, June 4-5, at Morgan Community College in Fort Morgan from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. each day. Attendance is required at both full days to successfully complete the training.
ASIST is designed to teach participants skills to confidently intervene with someone at risk of suicide. This training is highly interactive and is ideal for any community member wanting to learn intervention skills.
It is for parents, educators, health care providers, law enforcement, emergency services providers, faith-based community leaders, social workers, probation officers and individuals who are routinely in contact with the general public.
