Aspen County Band from Sidney, Nebraska, will entertain at the Peerless Theatre Sunday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m., sponsored by Phillips County Arts Council.

Aspen County Band to kick off PCAC concert season Sunday

    The Peerless Theatre in Holyoke will be filled with the sounds of the Aspen County Band on Sunday, Sept. 10, at 1 p.m. as the Phillips County Arts Council presents its annual kickoff concert for the 2017-2018 concert season.
    Admission is free and open to the public. The PCAC will be announcing the exciting concert line-up for the 2017-2018 season, and season memberships will be available in the lobby before and after the concert. The Peerless concession stand will also be open for snacks and beverages.
    The Aspen County Band, hailing from Sidney, Nebraska, consists of Loretta Lacey on vocals and percussion; Tony Brindisi on dobro and guitar; Sean Anderson, violin, bouzouki, mandolin and vocals; Ted Egging on bass; Steve Treinen on 6- and 12-string guitars and vocals; and Larry Lacey on cajon (floor drum) and percussion.
    They have been performing in the area for the past several years, including the Sidney Octoberfest, Sidney Gold Rush Days, The Most Unlikely Place in Lewellen, Nebraska, and Bike Across Nebraska.
