Boxes, boxes and more boxes packed for OCC

Cash Workman shows off Haxtun’s record number of 52 cartons filled with 850 shoeboxes to be sent to children in need across the world. Through Operation Christmas Child, God’s love will be shared while providing kids with fun toys, school supplies and hygiene items that were donated by local groups, churches and residents. Haxtun Berean Bible Church served as one of the collection sites in northern Colorado, and organizer Kimberley Woodhouse said they’ve seen the project grow every year. The site even packed more cartons than Sterling. Woodhouse said around 100 shoeboxes came from the Holyoke area.
