Bundled-up Easter egg hunters hop to it
On Sunday morning, boys and girls woke up to a white Easter, but on the day before, the weather cooperated just enough for Holyoke’s community Easter egg hunts to go on as planned. Bundled up with an Easter pail in hand, Lydia, daughter of Jesson and Nicole (Williamson) Salyards, dashes around the courthouse lawn to collect candy at the 6-and-under hunt sponsored by Holyoke Lions Club. The first- and second-grade hunt at the city park was sponsored by American Legion Post 90. The Veterans of Foreign War Post 6482 sponsored the hunt for third- and fourth-graders at the HHS practice field. — Johnson Publications photo
