Cars, bikes, vendors, garage sales sought for June 22 Dandelion Daze
It’s now June, and for the people of northeast Colorado, that means Dandelion Daze. Car enthusiasts from near and far are preparing for Holyoke’s 19th annual car show coming up Saturday, June 22.
Held on the Phillips County Court House lawn, the event is sponsored by Holyoke Chamber of Commerce. Registration is currently being accepted for cars, vendors and inclusion in the citywide garage sales and can be completed at https://squareup.com/store/holyoke-chamber-of-commerce/.
Registration for the car show will be open up until the event itself, but preregistration is encouraged and comes at a discount. Booth registration for exhibitors, vendors, crafts and food sales will also be available until the event as well, but priority will be given to those who register first.
Booths are 10 feet by 10 feet and have the option of electricity or not. Vendors are responsible for their own tables, chairs and extension cords.
Registration for the citywide garage sales must be turned in by Friday, June 14, at 2 p.m. to be included on the map.
Hard copies of each of the three registrations are also available. To request one or for questions about registering, contact Holyoke Chamber of Commerce at 970-854-3517 or email@example.com.
Those who have attended Dandelion Daze in the past may notice some changes to the lineup of events this year. The citywide garage sales have been added to the schedule, while the 5K run and the poker run were removed.
Garage sales will get the day started at 8 a.m. Car registration will be open 8-11 a.m., and the show and shine will last through 3 p.m. Booths will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and free kids games will be on-site beginning at 10 a.m.
Awards for top cars and bikes will be presented at 2:30 p.m., and cars will cruise to the Regent Park parking lot at 3 p.m.
