Cavalcade of classic cars returns June 22 for Dandelion Daze

    Holyoke Chamber of Commerce’s 19th annual Dandelion Daze will be bringing a host of classic cars and bikes to the downtown area this Saturday, June 22, along with festivities at the Phillips County Courthouse and garage sales across town.
    Garage sales begin at 8 a.m., along with car and bike registration at the courthouse. Entrants in vehicle contests are invited to show and shine their rides on the courthouse lawn until 3 p.m., when vehicles will be driven south on Interocean Avenue to the Regent Park parking lot for Cruisin’ Down Main. Contest winners will be announced at 2:30 p.m.
    Also at the courthouse, Holyoke High School FBLA will be serving breakfast burritos at 8:30 a.m. and lunch at 10:30 a.m. From 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m., exhibitor, craft, informational and vendor booths will also be open.
    Free kids’ and family games, including a Dozer Games mobile gaming center, sidewalk chalk, inflatables and more will be available starting at 10 a.m.
    From noon-4:30 p.m., visitors are also invited to the Phillips County Museum, located one block east of the stoplight, where a Hupmobile, Model T and more are on display in the museum’s transportation section.
