Community For Unity scheduled for Aug. 6

A fundraising event on Main Street in Yuma will take place Friday, Aug. 6. Community For Unity has been organized to support the new nonprofit organization “Community Blessings For Hope.” This organization has been created by LaRetta Mallory of Empowering Oasis & Blessings to serve as a community outreach program.

Mallory wants to give back to the area communities and be a blessing to patients and their caregivers. She will be working with doctors, hospitals and hospice services throughout northeast Colorado (and possibly Kansas and Nebraska) to help bring a day of fun to those who need an activity out of their normal routine that will put a smile on their faces and give them something different to look forward to.
