Competition couldn’t be cuter in Baby Bear Hugs contest

With 29 babies and toddlers in the running, the people of Phillips County weren’t faced with an easy task of selecting the sweetest. In the end, though, the annual Baby Bear Hugs fundraiser named the county’s three sweetest babies and toddlers, who each received a haul of goodies donated by local businesses.

Bristol McCallum, daughter of Trae and Brittany McCallum was first, followed by Christian Loya, son of Tara Krueger and Jesus Loya, and Hudson Borland, son of Jason and Chasta Borland.

Displays featuring photos of each participant were set up at Holyoke Community Federal Credit Union and the Bar Lo Cafe before the Phillips County Fair as well as in the Event Center during fair week. People could cast their votes for the sweetest by making a donation to Baby Bear Hugs.
