Concept art sought for community garden boxes

Phillips County Extension has been working on the re-establishment of a community garden for the area and is excited to announce that four grow boxes have been received courtesy of the Will Heginbotham Trust.  

The grow boxes will be placed on the Phillips County Event Center grounds. Extension hopes that this garden will benefit everyone in Phillips County. Those outside Holyoke are encouraged to visit this garden, and the hope is that in the next year or two Extension can expand this garden to other cities within the county.

After putting the boxes together, organizers thought that they could benefit from some color. They are hoping that community members are up for the challenge to develop some concept art to decorate the boxes and show off what is important to the community.
