Concept of death is surprisingly funny in Players’ melodrama
After seeing the Phillips County Players’ performance of “Cheating Death” Oct. 28-29 at the Peerless Theatre, audience members found it’s a lot easier to cheat death than they ever thought before.
Death, played by Christopher Colglazier, gets more than he bargained for when he goes to collect Sam Johnson from a mental hospital. He gets the runaround from patients, played by Luke Krogmeier, Dolly Smith, Karen Swan, Janel Wailes, Jes-c French and Maury Kramer.
