County sees 52 new cases

Phillips County recorded 52 more positive COVID-19 cases for a 23.4% increase this week, compared to 5.2% the previous week and 3.9% the week before that. Northeast Colorado showed a 4.5% increase in positive COVID-19 cases since last week’s report.

Colorado has recorded a 5% increase in positive COVID-19 cases in the past week, compared to 6.8% the previous week and 10% the week before that. As of Monday, Dec. 28, a total of 67,047 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in Colorado.

The Northeast Colorado Health Department reported Morgan County with 75 deaths, Logan County 53, Washington County 10, Yuma County 10, Phillips County seven and Sedgwick County two.
