County track draws 73 cars for 8 divisions of racing

Motor Madness makeup races set for Sept. 15

    Phillips County Raceway brought 73 engines to Holyoke last Sunday, June 9, for its second race of the 2019 season.
    Raceway organizer Joe Bellm said he was happy with the turnout and conditions, which were hot and dusty until temperatures dropped after sundown.
    He said he was especially happy with car counts for the Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association races, which included 18 vehicles in the 25-lap feature.
    Besides midgets, dwarfs, POWRI wingless sprints,  modifieds, stock cars, sport mods, hobby stocks and compacts all raced Sunday night.
