COVID-19 numbers update

Positive COVID-19 cases were reported Friday, Jan. 15, as follows:

­— Northeast Colorado: 5,912 cases (excluding Sterling Correctional Facility and county jails), including Morgan County, 2,284; Logan County, 2,236; Yuma County, 610; Washington County, 307; Phillips County, 312; and Sedgwick County, 172.

The Northeast Colorado Health Department reported Morgan County with a total of 85 COVID-19 deaths, Logan County 48, Washington County 11, Yuma County 14, Phillips County 10 and Sedgwick County two.

— Colorado: 376,171 cases in 64 counties, an increase of 32,736 over the numbers reported Jan. 4, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
