COVID cases continue to increase in NE Colorado

Northeast Colorado showed a 15.8% increase in positive COVID-19 cases since last week’s report, with Phillips County recording 37 more for a 39% increase to 132 cases.

The Northeast Colorado Health Department also reported Morgan County with 51 deaths, Logan County 18, Washington County 3 and Sedgwick, Yuma and Phillips counties one each.

Colorado has recorded a 24.7% increase in positive COVID-19 cases in the past week, compared to 20% the previous week and 15.3% the week before that.

Positive COVID-19 cases were reported Monday, Nov. 16, as follows:

­— Northeast Colorado: 3,730 cases (increase of 510 in the last week), including Morgan County, 1,307; Logan County, 1,780; Yuma County, 269; Washington County, 165; Phillips County, 132; and Sedgwick County, 77.
