COVID report updated

Positive COVID-19 cases were reported Monday, May 4, as follows:

— Northeast Colorado: Morgan County, 414; Logan County, 290; Yuma County, nine; Washington County, eight; Phillips County, five; and Sedgwick County, zero. Morgan County has had 20 deaths and Logan County one. Northeast Colorado Health Department noted that it is sometimes necessary to adjust case numbers up or down based upon case investigations and the final determination of county of residence. (Phillips County was listed at six cases last week.)

— Colorado: 16,907 cases in 56 counties and 851 deaths, according to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.

— United States: 1,152,372 cases and 67,456 deaths, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

— The world: 3,517,345 cases and 243,401 deaths, according to the World Health Organization.
