CSP Youth Academy seeking applicants

    The Sterling office of the Colorado State Patrol is currently seeking applicants for the 2018 Colorado State Patrol Youth Academy to be held in Golden June 17–23.
    The goal of the Youth Academy is to assist in the development of future community leaders through team exercises and skill building. Training will include:
    —Team building and leadership.
    —Alive at 25 — defensive driving course.
    —Ethics and law enforcement.
    —Introduction to law enforcement driving.
    —Firearm safety and familiarization.
    —Police communications.
    —History and philosophy of the Colorado State Patrol.
