David Osborne Trio opens PCAC concert series Oct. 6
A jazz trio led by acclaimed pianist David Osborne is opening the Phillips County Arts Council 2017-18 concert series. The concert is Friday, Oct. 6, at 7:30 p.m. in the Holyoke High School auditorium, and the David Osborne Trio is the first of four performers slated to take the stage there throughout the season.
Known as the “pianist to the presidents,” Osborne’s credentials are many. The list of White House performances include Reagan, Bush, Clinton and Obama administrations. Osborne performed numerous times for George W. and Laura Bush in the White House and is a regular performer for Jimmy and Rosalind Carter in Plains, Georgia.
