Dee receives Signature Status in art

Nancy Dee has been awarded Signature Status with the Pastel Society of Colorado. It is offered by many art organizations as a way to recognize those practicing and accomplished artists whose work demonstrates a high level of aesthetics.
The level of Signature Membership with the Pastel Society of Colorado recognizes a member in good standing whose award-winning skills, nationally accepted experience and creative vision are such that their pastel work could represent the Pastel Society of Colorado. Members must attain a certain number of points within a specific time frame by satisfying a combination of the several criteria, including acceptance of a pastel painting into a national or international juried pastel exhibition or competition in the professional category in at least three different exhibitions within any consecutive seven-year period, all while continuing to be a member in good standing of PSC. Additional points are given for winning an award in any of the above-mentioned national or international juried exhibitions or competitions, and roughly one-fourth of the points must be earned for service to the organization during this same time period.
