Did you know?

The modern era is often referred to as the “Digital Age,” but mankind’s relationship with technology dates back much further than the 21st century. According to Wired.com, in 2006 scientists confirmed that a device discovered in 1900 amid the remains of an ancient Mediterranean shipwreck was an analog computer. The device, since dubbed the “Antikythera Computer,” was believed to help calculate astronomical cycles so sailors could more easily sail between Alexandria and Athens. It has been dated to sometime around the first century B.C., proving that man’s fascination with gadgets is an ancient one that has been paying dividends for millenia.
