In 2017, the Week of the Young Child is April 24-28. During this week, local communities come together to honor young children and all those who make a difference in children’s lives. The Week of the Young Child is a time that those in northeast Colorado can recognize that early years are learning years.
All young children need and deserve high-quality early care and learning experiences that will prepare them for life, and rural communities have a great opportunity to do their part to help young children. In northeast Colorado, there are 100 licensed early childhood care and education programs working together to provide quality early childhood care and education and to build public support for high-quality programs.
The Northeast Colorado Child Care Resource and Referral asks communities to come together for children during the Week of the Young Child to honor young children and all those who make a difference in children’s lives.
