Election activity gears up with Presidential primary, caucuses

Colorado residents kick off the 2020 election activity the first week of March.

The Presidential Primary for the state is slated for Tuesday, March 3, and precinct caucuses within each county may be held Saturday, March 7.

Registered Democrats and Republicans who wanted to vote on the other party ballot for the March 3 Presidential Primary had to change their affiliation before Feb. 3.

Likewise, unaffiliated voters who wanted to designate which party ballot they would like to receive for the Presidential Primary had to do so before Feb. 3.

Democratic and Republican Presidential Primary ballots will be mailed the week of Feb. 10, according to Phillips County Clerk & Recorder Beth Zilla.
