Eli Meakins selected for 2018 Boys State

    Holyoke’s American Legion Post 90 has selected Haxtun High School senior Eli Meakins to attend the 2018 session of Colorado Boys State. The six-day hands-on experience will be held June 9-15 at University of Colorado-Colorado Springs.
    Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the operation of the democratic form of government, the organization of political parties, and the relationship of one to the other in shaping Colorado government. The session is sponsored by the Colorado American Legion.
