Engagement announced

Larry Kennedy of Pinedale, Arizona, and Joy Schafer of Holyoke announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.

Kennedy is retired from the Marine Corps and Continental Airlines as a pilot, while Schafer has retired from various local projects, including being Phillips County 4-H program coordinator, volunteering with the mobile food pantry and writing Pocketful of Rye for the Haxtun-Fleming Herald for 15 years.  

An April 13 wedding is being planned at First Baptist Church of Holyoke.
