Emergency options reviewed

Commissioners are continuing to look at options for filling the role of Phillips County emergency manager, including potentially having a shared emergency manager for Phillips and Sedgwick counties.

Chairman of the board of county commissioners Terry Hofmeister said they are looking at all possibilities regarding the emergency manager position, with the ultimate goal of making sure citizens are safe and protected.

The commissioners were quick to point out the great job Bob Heldenbrand did when he held the position and the great foundation he helped build for his successor.
