Fun weekend coming to Yuma County fairgrounds

The 15th annual Turn N’ Burn for the Cure Barrel Race, Friday-Saturday, Sept. 23-24, and the 8th annual Dan Kirchenschlager Memorial Hope & Help For Healing Team Roping, Sunday, Sept. 25, will take place at the fairgrounds in Yuma at 410 W. Hoag Ave. All events are cash only.

The warm-up barrel race on Sept. 23 will start with exhibitions from 3-6:30 p.m. with the open 4D race beginning at 7 p.m.

Sept. 24 starts with cowboy church in the grandstands. Music will be provided by 3 Cord Thrift Store Unplugged, Trent and Ashley Nelson. Exhibitions will be held from 9:30-11:30 a.m. with open riding until noon. The Team Of Three Auction will start at 12:30 p.m., followed by the open 4D race at 1:30 p.m. and ends with the youth.
