Fundraiser planned for ultrasound van

    The Knights of Columbus in northeast Colorado are spearheading an effort to raise funds to purchase a mobile ultrasound van for A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center of Northeast Colorado.
    Unwanted pregnancies cross all religious and socio-economic boundries. The ultrasound unit will show expectant mothers there is a living being in their womb and provide alternatives to termination.
    The total cost of the van, including license and taxes, will be $126,000.
    The ultrasound van will be utilized in the six northeast Colorado counties and will be managed and staffed by A Caring Pregnancy Resource Center.
