Girl Scouts hold bridging ceremony

Nine local Girl Scouts celebrated their move from one age level to the next at a bridging ceremony Monday, May 20, at Holyoke Elementary School. Pictured from left are Vianey Jimenez, Eleanor Kleve, Sophie Seeley, Emma Benson, Adi Priddy, Chloe Benson, Paige Marlow, Margaret Kleve and Amairany Murillo. The celebration also included handing out badges, awarding cookie sales, and enjoying treats with family and friends. The girls reported selling 4,410 boxes of cookies for $18,384 in total sales. Murillo was recognized as the top seller with 644 boxes.
