Grand Champion honors rewarded at fair
Phillips County 4-H and FFA members were glad to be back to a more normal fair week and to be honored for their hard work on projects at the 2021 Phillips County Fair from July 20-25.
Grand Champion and Reserve Grand Champion honors for animals, shooting sports, clothing and everything else have been awarded.
Braden Plumb and Lucinda Mares are the recipients of $250 scholarships sponsored by Family Affair. Plumb was the senior overall general projects award winner, and Mares won Grand Champion honors in senior round robin livestock showmanship.
The Holyoke Enterprise will be publishing a keepsake edition with full results of these champion honors, as well as all participant honors from the 2021 county fair.
This special section commemorative piece will be inserted in the Aug. 11 edition of the Enterprise. It will include photos of the Grand Champs and Reserve Grand Champs with their projects, as well as full results from each project area.
In addition, the open class results will be published as part of the special section.
