Grandparents rule!

Pumpkin patch season starts early to celebrate family

Pumpkins and More A-maiz-ing Farm opened early this year, taking the opportunity to honor National Grandparents Day on Sept. 9. The farm grandparents, Chris and Janice Bieber, were the guests of honor, but all grandparents were invited to join their grandkids for a day of pumpkins, games and play time. This year’s grandparents-themed corn maze is dedicated to the Biebers.
Through September, the farm is open Saturdays from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sundays from noon-6 p.m. In October, the hours change to Fridays from 4-10 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m.-11 p.m. and Sundays from noon-6 p.m. For more information, visit www.pumpkinsandmoreamaizingfarm.com.
